Dr William Bruce-Jones has been a full time NHS Consultant Psychiatrist since 1994. He trained in London at Barts & the Maudsley Hospital and was Lecturer in Psychological Medicine at Barts. Dr Bruce-Jones works in the fields of General Adult Psychiatry and Liaison (General Hospital) Psychiatry. He has diverse clinical interests including mood disorders, anxiety disorders (including PTSD) and psychosomatic disorders. He has set up a service in Liaison Psychiatry (including self-harm) at the Royal United Hospital, Bath and provides mental health expertise to the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases that includes a neuro-rehabilitation unit. He has published a number of peer reviewed papers in the field of Liaison Psychiatry.
