Experience:
I am a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Full Practitioner Member of the Society’s Division of Neuropsychology. I have the following degrees: BA(Hons) in Psychology, MA in Clinical Neuropsychology and PhD in Psychology. I am Visiting Senior Lecturer in the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol with teaching responsibilities for post-graduate students. I have been Head of the Department in Neuropsychology at Westmead Hospital in Sydney, Australia, and latterly at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, UK, a post I left in May 2005 to pursue independent practice and research although I continue to hold an Honorary position there. I have published articles in the peer reviewed literature. I have extensive experience in clinical neuropsychology and have worked in adult, paediatric, brain injury rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, neurological and neurosurgical settings over the last 17 years. I have extensive experience of medico-legal neuropsychological practice and currently accept in the order of 70 new cases per annum. I have experience of giving oral as well as written evidence. I am engaged in regular peer review with senior members of the neuropsychological community.
